The overarching purpose of our Instrumental Music Program is to provide students with the opportunity to become musicians and experience the expressive qualities of music through learning to play a band or orchestral instrument and to participate in performance ensembles.
Students in years 3 to 10 are able to participate in Instrumental Music during the year. They may select from a range of instruments including brass, woodwind and percussion. Students will get opportunities to participate in performances in the community and to play alongside other local school instrumental students as well.
Our students have the opportunity to learn an instrument at no charge to families.
